We are excited to share with you some news at Hainault Vineyard!!
As of the 1st of October, the restaurant will be taken over by Benoit Lasplace.
Benoit has studied hospitality management in France and he then went on traveling throughout Europe and North America where he ran Michelin starred restaurants.
After managing Rockpool Bar&Grill and Print Hall which both were awarded best restaurants in WA, he decided to settle in the Perth Hills where his wife is originally from.
He has opened Buns&Co burger bar in Lesmurdie last year and as the first week of October will be relaunching the restaurant at Hainault under the name Mistelle, a fortified wine coming from his home town.
Mistelle will be offering French style bistro food, made from scratch using the best produce from the Perth hills, in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly and knowledgeable staff.
They will also offer a more casual menu of shared plates and bites, served on the deck and the lawn starting in November.
Lyn and Michael will continue to run the vineyard and operate the cellar door. All the wines from Hainault vineyard will be served at the restaurant and the alfresco area alongside a selection of crafted beers and ciders.
